About Us

Danvic Briones, artist-designer-innovator-entrepreneur, is a graduate of the University of the Philippines College of Fine Arts.   A painting major with a series of successful exhibits in New York, San Diego and Los Angeles, he found himself moved during the onslaught of Ondoy, when he witnessed a family on top of a floating roof suddenly disappearing beneath the waves, that he made it his personal project to innovate a personal rescue device for disaster preparedness.

This vision took him into the field of industrial design, where, 2 years, 10 prototypes, and many collaborators after, he innovated the Rescue72 Vest Bag, a floater-receptacle-grab-and-go-vest-bag designed to meet the challenges of climate change and natural disasters.

Danvic is the President and CEO of the Rescue72 Corporation.
